The Puttery Charlotte NC is a newer indoor putt putt course that focuses on themed holes, great cocktails and a comfortable, fun experience for 21+ only. It was very reasonably priced, didn’t take a huge time commitment (but could if we had wanted it to), the mini golf itself was great and so was the service, drinks and food.

Over spring break, UNC School of Law students had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through a pro bono trip to Charlotte, North Carolina. Meghan Moran, director of pro bono initiatives at Carolina Law, led the trip along with Kaitlyn Parker, senior director of student engagement. The group of eight students partnered with Safe Alliance, the domestic violence agency in Mecklenburg County, to assist with their Victim Assistance Court Program. The other 9-hole course named The Library is themed as an academic type space with red carpets. I think if both courses were as easy as the Conservatory, Puttery wouldn’t get as good reviews.

There’s a large parking lot at Puttery Charlotte and you shouldn’t have any trouble. If on the off chance you have a hard time parking or come on a very busy night, there’s always street parking closeby. You may cancel a reservation up to 48 hours prior to your playing window and re-book with new reservation details. This course gives you a challenge and keeps things interesting. I bet there’s a photo booth on this course also but we must have missed it. Overall we were both really impressed with the quality of the courses and holes. They weren’t as short as some of the other indoor putt putt places I’ve been to, and they had a decent amount of obstacles and challenging elements.
It has a hip urban vibe where jamming to some tunes and noshing on chef-driven food make it appealing to non-golfers as well. The Dallas venue has a downstairs lounge and bar, upstairs bar and lounge, patio, a study and lodge, library, rooftop and illusion courses and the other locations will be similar in design. When you walk in, you’ll check in with the front desk and then you have the option to get a drink at the bar. They sometimes have servers which will serve drinks to you on the courses as well as second bars that open on each course, but it seems like that’s only when it’s pretty crowded in our experience. There are a designated number of tee times set aside for walk-in guests.

We loved that they have food so you don’t have to leave early to get a meal in, and they have a great selection of food including classic appetizers, a few salads, burgers, entrees like pasta and even dessert. The covered garage has 1700 spaces and charges $24 per day for cars. Reserved parking is recommended through Republic Parking Northwest and the cost is $23 per day when booked in advance. There is no capacity for RVs or larger vehicles to park as the garage has a maximum height of 6’6”. The cruise terminal concierge will provide any local city information regarding restaurants and attractions nearby. After baggage drop, security and check-in at Pier 66, cruise passengers may be asked to wait for boarding, especially if they arrive ahead of time. There is a separate area for VIP and suite passengers as well as a general waiting area.

Take exit 164A and follow the signs to Madison Street and Alaskan Way to reach Pier 66 cruise terminal. Pier 66 currently serves Oceania Cruises and Norwegian Cruise lines.
If you’re in need of a rental car, Sea-Tac Airport has numerous car rental agencies located on-site. Companies such as Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, and Budget offer a variety of vehicle options to suit your needs. If you’re planning to set sail on a Carnival Cruise from Seattle, you’ll likely be departing from the Port of Seattle’s Bell Street Cruise Terminal or Smith Cove Cruise Terminal. These state-of-the-art facilities provide a comfortable and convenient starting point for your journey. For those who prefer public transportation, the Central Link light rail system is an excellent option. Unless we have onboard credit to burn though (as we did in this case), we usually skip speciality dining on Holland America cruises. Honestly, it was better than much of the entertainment in the main theater at night (we’ll get to that later).
